Presentation
Viñedos del Contino is part, along with CVNE (Haro) and Viña Real, the group of Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España. The three in the Rioja Alta.
The name, due to the character that was benefited with land ownership, "Contino" Pedro de Samaniego, one of a hundred soldiers of the Royal Guard who, in times of Ferdinand and Isabella, watched "continuously" by monarchs and your family.
From its facilities in the land of Laguardia, a manor house with drafts of the fifteenth century and surrounded by vineyards surrounded by a bend of the river Ebro, Contino offers a classic line of Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva, and a modern, Viña del Olivo and Graciano monovarietal.
