Castilla y León wines

Wine has been produced in vinos de Castilla and León since Roman times, although it is true that it is only recently that they have taken very important steps for the modernization of wineries and crops, to boost the quality of these traditional wines.

Castilla and León are one of the wine-producing regions that has a greater extension of vineyards, which produce an important variety of wines that aim to cover almost the entire range of market tastes. Thus we have powerful wines like Toro, cheerful ones, like Rueda or the tasty ones, such as those produced in Ribera del Duero.

Among the wines produced in Castile we find ,young white wines, from Malvasia or Verdejo, young rosé wines, red wines, both young and aged, from strains of Grenache, Mencia or Tinta Fina.
