Godello wines
Godello is a high-quality grape, which is grown mainly in Valdeorras, and is part of the DO of Valdeorras and Bierzo. It is originally from Galicia. Some connoisseurs say it is none other than Verdejo or Verdello. The wines it provides are of slightly yellow colour, with subtle aromas of ripe fruits and floral notes. It leaves hints of citrus in the mouth, and has a well-balanced acidity.
