Mencía wines
Mencia is a red variety grown in the Iberian Peninsula that was already known in ancient Rome. Also known as Medoc, this is a strain with small compact clusters, thick-skinned, oval grapes of average size. It produces fruity and aromatic wines of intense color that have good skills for oak aging.
