Dolç Mataró 50cl 2011 (Monastrell and Mataro)

Dolç Mataro, Alta Allela, is a sweet red wine made from organic grapes primarily with the autochthonous variety Mataró (name of the capital of the region in which the winery is located).

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Dolç Mataró 2011 is carmine color.
  • Nose: the nose notes of candied fruit stand (prunes, dried figs and Italian cherry tomato), citrus notes, orange peel and Japanese green tea.
  • Palate: is creamy, tasty, sweet and with a balance between acid and sweet. Very well integrated.

AGING: The Mataro 2011 Dolç maceration occurs in stainless steel tanks for 6 months for maximum extraction of color, lightly pressing the dough. Subsequently, the wine is aged two months in French oak barrels and bottled after a light stabilization process.

PREPARATION: His "birth" comes after the ripening of the grapes on the vine and a vintage that takes place before the fruit begins raisining process.
