Monte Cascas Alentejo 2016 (Aragonêz, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira)
- View: Red.
- Nose: red fruits, licorice notes and saves.
- Mouth: plum, ripe cherry. balanced structure and a long finish.
GRAPES: 40% Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz Aragonez-Alicante Bouschet 35% and 25%.
AGEING: 40% of the aged mixture for 3 months in French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: destemmed grapes, crushed directly in Cuba; 3 days of cold soak, alcoholic fermentation begins at 12 °C and ending at 32 °C; malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
PAIRING: daily meals, pizza, pasta, grilled chicken.
TEMPERATURE: 16 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%
