“We paired the Paolo Scavino Barolo Cannubi with a starter. I had tried Paolo Scavino Barolo Cannubi with some wine enthusiasts.
Nice and pretty colour. This wine from Paolo Scavino smells like red fruit compote. A little too acid although it depends on the taste of each person.”
“Paolo Scavino, an Italian winery of unprecedented class. The Barolo represents a selection of fruit from seven separate vineyard plots scattered across the main plots of Barolo. The fruit of those locations is vinified separately and once each barrel is tasted, the final assembly is created. Casks that do not meet the quality standards of the estate to be sold as bulk wine. This is a lovely wine that opens to cherry and blackberry aromas with elegant notes of crushed stone, smoke, licorice and tar. This is an excellent Barolo any short or medium term is already accessible

“Paolo Scavino Barolo DOCG Cannubi
Cannubi vineyard is probably the most historic of all the Barolo area, right in the village of Barolo. We make wine this cru from 1985 and this is one of our two oldest vineyards. Planted in 1946 on the central ridge of the hill Cannubi.
The low yield of this vineyard is due to a special combination of natural factors one of which is old age of the screws which ensure a unique quality.
A Barolo of great wealth where the charm of Nebbiolo is best expressed.
Character harmonic and very fine.”
“A good red to finish the meal properly. At a friend's wedding.
Red wine with violet reflections. First of all, you'll perceive a raspberry flavour. The flavours of Paolo Scavino Barolo Cannubi were quite well compensated.”
