Historically, Triple style refers to the density of the beer during the fermentation process. Nowadays, the word refers Triple especially high alcohol beer breweries! If it is not the strongest of the range Hertog, the Hertog Jan Triple has all the qualities to be considered a triple beer! Visually, this Dutch beer is adorned with a slightly troubled blond dress, topped with a creamy white foam. The nose has aromas on spices, yeast but also alcohol. In the mouth, there are nice peppery notes and a vegetal edge. The finish is malted. This powerful triple is in the tradition of the great Belgian Tripel. . . Another Belgian-inspired beer after the beautiful Hertog Jan Dubbel!
