Brewed once a year by the Belgian brewery Liefmans this Liefmans Cuvée Brut wants an assembly of different beers from the brewery, including the Old Brown and Kriek. It is then no less than 13kg of fresh cherries hectoliters that were added before ripening of 18 months. This superb Belgian beer offers us a ruby topped with a slightly reddish foam relatively well sustained. On the nose it is possible to find obvious flavors of cherry and caramel. Mouth, behind a beautiful acidity, offers us incredible intensity red fruits including cherry. The tasting ends with a final acid. Thus, this Liefmans Cuvée Brut appears as an exceptional beer, in line with the best Belgian Kriek. Another great beer after Liefmans Goudenband!
