Ixsir Altitudes 2013 (Muscat, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: medium red, light edge.
  • Nose: sweet spices wonderfully heady of blackcurrant and vanilla aromas. very polished and shiny, super-fine tannins, wealth, cassis notes.
  • Mouth: black cherry flavor, lots of fruit, liquorice in the finish, and yet dry, elegantly wrapped in thin and soft oak and a long finish.

APPELLATION: Lebanon.

VINEYARD: Vineyards at an altitude of about 1000 m above sea level (hence the name).

GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon, Caladoc, Syrah and Tempranillo.

WINE PAIRING: Roasted red meat: lamb, duck and beef.

ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
