“Caprili again rated as one of the best Brunello di Montalcino's! This is a serious Brunello di Montalcino: fleshy, concentrated and powerful structure. The grainy tannins is pretty mature and is firm yet friendly about it. The excellent balance between fruit aromas (especially cherries), acids and tannins make this wine very harmonious. Caprili's 2011 Brunello di Montalcino has spicy aromas of toasted oak and toasted almonds husk. 2011 was a very warm year and this makes the Caprili (yet) powerful than previous vintages. Unlike previous years, this year do not need years to "plummet" but the wine is already very nice to drink.”
