Product not available in United States
The Mumm Cordon Rouge is the champagne suitable for big occasions and big events. A world-famous emblematic cuvée, the Cordon Rouge has converted G.H. Mumm into the most famous champagne house.
But why the red ribbon? In 1876, Georges Hermann Mumm decided to pay tribute to the cuvée that had made him famous by decorating the bottle with a red silk ribbon, usually worn by the great personalities awarded the Legion of Honour, the highest honour conferred by the French Republic.
Without a doubt, the Mumm Cordon Rouge has been faithful to the motto of the house, which is "Only the best".
