The Champagne has always been characterized by unstable weather. For this reason since 1849 Pol Roger has observed the tradition of not producing Champagne Vintage when weather conditions do not permit an exceptional ripening of the grapes; This tradition is still maintained. The satisfactory gradation potential, the total low acidity, the pH rather high, the content of tartaric acid content of the must, which was the lowest since 1970, characterize the vintage grapes 2004. The Brut Vintage 2004 is produced by a blend of pinot noir and Chardonnay from 20 Grand and premier Cru from the mountains of Reims and Cȏte Des Blancs. Produced only in limited quantities is aged for eight years before being sold. The golden yellow color, fine perlage. The nose is fresh clean and mature: narcissus and iris, dried yellow fruit and honey. This complexity in the nose, is fully confirmed the palate and results in a wine with round and full-bodied texture. Warms in the glass the aromas of fruits grow in a generous manner.
