TASTING NOTES OF Roederer Millésime 2012:
- View: bright gold, and numerous fine perlage, persistent.
- Nose: notes of nuts, ripe, white pear and peach fruit and citrus, followed by tertiary touches and minerals.
- Mouth: juicy, thick and seductive, ripe fruit and flowers, tangy flavors with citrus fruits, spices, fresh wood and even dark chocolate. Structured but fresh, elegant and juicy, long, clean finish with a persistent but pleasant mineral and floral notes.
GRAPES: 70% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay.
PAIRING: grilled fish or white meat sauces.
