“- From old vines, surrounded by vineyards with low yields this wine is made and is the best and most famous Gavi the world! Despite its high concentration of flavors he is fine and refined
- The Gavi dei Gavi 'Etichetta Nera' may be the only Gavi ever be referred to, comprises the aging potential
- Allergens: contains sulfites”
“La Scolca is the oldest winery in the region which is still run by the same family. The wines of La Scolca are internationally recognized by many stars and the Gavi dei Gavi "Black Label" is even the house wine of Queen Elizabeth. In the glass, this Gavi Black Label La Scola Buff. In the nose we smell tones intense fruity and floral. The minerality dusty glass out. In the mouth we taste a medium bodied wine. Fresh with a beautiful acidity with notes of almond and hazelnut. The wine is very elegant. This is obviously a fine wine with fish, paella and oysters but what concerns us a nice "enjoy wine" for a good conversation. Harold Hamersma in Grand Hamersma 2017, assessed with an 8, 5”

“I shared this wine with my family.
The La Scolca Gavi Dei Gavi Etichetta Nera Gavi has a golden yellow colour. Aromas of pear and banana. Very light.
This wine from La Scolca goes well with any meal, to cap it off.”
“La Scolca ranks among the top white wine producers in Italy and it was the Soldati family who first produced quality Gavi from the Cortese grape. Forget what you may have tasted before, known throughout the world, Black Label Gavi is pale straw yellow in colour with delicate greenish highlights. Intense lemon citrus fruit with floral and flinty notes on the nose. Medium bodied, with apple and more citrus fruit on the palate with notes of almond and hazelnuts. Crisp, refreshing and long finish.”
