Technical sheet · Bosco del Merlo Campo Camino Merlot Riserva
“A single-varietal Merlot that expresses both a strong varietal identity and a marked territoriality. Produced from a selection of our best clones, whose production loads are intensely reduced in order to achieve the perfect phenolic maturity. The absolute priority is to achieve a perfect grape at the time of harvesting since this condition is a prerequisite for lengthy skin maceration, during which the colourants, flavourings and tannins will pass from the skins and pips to the wine in order to create its structure.”
“The Lison-Pramaggiore Riserva Campo del Merlo Bosco Camino born in vineyards located in the Lison hamlet in the municipality of Portogruaro Veneto. This wine is made from Merlot grapes. Fermentation takes place with maceration for 20-22 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in barrels for 12 months and then for a further 4 months in bottle before being marketed. The Campo del Merlo Bosco Camino has an intense ruby red color with purple hues. The nose opens with a large bouquet of fruit, arricchitto by spicy notes. The palate is velvety, full and balanced, with moderate tannins that support a good structure. Perfect to accompany grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses. It expresses its best with dishes typical of Friuli cuisine and mountain cheeses.”
