D'Arenberg The Custodian Grenache 2015 (Grenache)
- View: dark garnet color with purple reflections.
- Nose: Intense aromas of ripe fruit, citrus fruit pulp and fruit, accompanied by spicy, spicy and soothing wood tones.
- Mouth: full, round, fleshy, intense, with sweet fruit flavors and spicy toned body. Long finish with toasted wood nuances.
APPELLATION: McLaren Vale.
AGEING: 6 months in French oak barrels on its lees.
PREPARATION: The grapes are separate batch and then be gently pressed in pneumatic bands. The wort is transferred to large cement vats where the fermentation is performed. During the final stages of this process, the wine is pressed with the feet and transferred to French oak barrels, where the fermentation is terminated. After a maturing wine, bottled without filtering or prior refining one.
PAIRING: Red meats, roasts, grills, sausages, game meat, leg of lamb, pasta with red sauce, aged cheeses, dark chocolate.
RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE SERVICE: 16-18 °C
