You will like to know that...
The Opus One 2013 is a powerful cuvée from French varieties, mainly the Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, from Napa Valley. Since 1979, this juicy red enters the market on a yearly basis and copies from the great wineries from the Bordeaux: for each vintage of the Opus One, there's a delicious "second wine", selling under the name of Overture and giving a small insight on the masterpiece of Opus One Winery. However, for the full complexity and aromatic power, you should go for Opus One. Unique and breathtaking in the glass, as well as on the palate.

Opus One 2013

- A satiny texture involves the soft tannins and round wine, its bright acidity supports a juicy and elegant taste. This early and remarkable wine offers a long finish, with clove and traces of dark chocolate.

I had participated in a prize draw and got it as a gift.
Dark red colour, reddish brown edges. This 2013 has a toffee aftertaste. Predominating aromas of red fruits.

This Oakville accompanied us while waiting for food. The best company for Opus One is a good conversation.
Nice colour. Smells like red tea. I couldn't find any particular flavour.

A great to share with friends.
It showed strong colours. Opus One revealed juicy red fruit in the nose. Smooth notes of caramel on the palate.
You can't do anything wrong with snacks.
