You will like to know that...

The Château Lynch Bages 2004 is an outstanding red wine made by Château Lynch Bages, only created in good vintages. This noble drink is one of the great from Pauillac and adds to the elite of the Grand Cru Classé wines. Its high quality is undeniable. Wine experts like Jancis Robinson, Robert Parker or Hachette gave very high evaluations and promoted the Château Lynch Bages 2004 into the wine aristocracy. The harvest took place completely manually between the 25th of September and the 10th of October 2004. The grapes were then selected very carefully. In order to get the best out of this red, enjoy the Château Lynch Bages 2004 from 2011 until 2030, with good storage also until 2035. Once opened, however, you should drink it in the next few days. After such a long time in the bottle, you should give the wine a nice decanting period in the carafe. Only this way, you'll enjoy all its elegant aromas which represent this Grand Cru Classé.

Château Lynch Bages 2004 (Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot)

Chateau Lynch-Bages (Pauillac) 2004 (Cabernet Sauvignon 73% Merlot 15% Cabernet Franc 10% Petit Verdot 2%)

Pure and stony fruit on the nose of this wine, with classic blackcurrant tones and a polished stone-pebble character mingling with notes of exotic fruits and toasty oak. The same style is found on the palate; elegantly polished forest fruits, nicely covered structure, good ripe tannins and a creamy, broad, mouth-filling finish. Very good indeed.

Château Lynch Bages

At the gates of Pauillac, the Lynch-Bages Estate owns part of its name to the ancient village of Bages, which for centuries was home to generations of winemakers. We didn't pair it well, but the wine was good. A wine to drink with your family.
At sight it has an intensive cherry colour. Tobacco aromas. It reminded me of black plums.
