This knowledge of soil and vines, together with the family's efforts to produce wines that are faithful to the region, have allowed generations to extract excellent wine from these lands. Sumarroca Chardonnay has been made from grapes selected from the Chardonnay variety of the maker's own farms, extracting only 50% of the must flower. The 2014 vintage had a later harvest than usual and a lower output compared to previous years, but is notable for its intense aroma of ripe fruits that evokes notes of peach, apple, honey and vanilla.
On the palate it is soft and velvety like the wine-growing landscape of Sumarroca, whose soft and undulating terrain resembles velvet. This sensation gives Sumarroca Chardonnay 2014 a full, mellow character with a long and persistent finish just like these landscapes. This wine is ideal to accompany white meats and lightly seasoned dishes.

Sumarroca Chardonnay 2017 (Chardonnay)
TASTING NOTES OF Sumarroca Chardonnay 2017:
- View: pale yellow, greenish reflections. Clean and bright.
- Nose: delicate aroma of sweet fruit, vineyard peach, apricot and pineapple.
- Mouth: soft and creamy, very fruity and fresh input. Good structure and very long and fruity finish.
AGEING: I repose with its own lees in stainless steel tanks.
PREPARATION: static desfangado 24 hours followed by a fermentation at 14 °C for 17 days.
PAIRING: cooked seafood, little spicy salads, baked white fish, cheeses and cow cheeses.
TEMPERATURE: 8 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.7%
