The Aconcagua Valley is part of the Aconcagua wine region. It is divided into a total of two provinces: San Felipe de Aconcagua and Los Andes. Both are very different in terms of soil and climatology, so the wines from them are very characteristic and special.

To date, the surface of vineyards occupies around 1,025 hectares, which are dedicated to the following varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Carménere and Chardonnay.
Cabernet Sauvignon is one of the best-known red grapes in the world. It grows in several zones globally, like France, Chile or Lebanon, among others. It is a cross between the French grapes Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc, made during the seventeenth century in south-western France. It is very easy to grow and has a great consistency and flavour. The wines have a good body, many tannins and an remarkable acidity.
Chardonnay is a grape variety of green skin that is used to make white wine. It is native to the French Burgundy region, although it is currently growing in many countries. It is an extremely neutral grape variety, with a large selection of fruit flavours.
The Merlot grape gives very fine and soft wines, well appreciated all over the world. They have a fleshy body and a very characteristic aroma. Regarding its colour, the wines made from it are intense ruby.
The Carménere is a grape variety that produces dark red wines with a rather strong flavour. Currently, the largest plantations of this variety are found in Chile.
