TASTING NOTES Le Cocq Reserve Viuva 2014:
-Having: dark, clean and bright garnet.
-Nariz: Aromas of ripe red fruits, with hints of pepper and nuts.
-Mouth: On the palate it is full, fresh and elegant. The flavors are sweet, fruity, with hints of nuts. Tannins are present and has good aging potential.
VINEYARD: Porto da Bouga Vinhos.
GRAPES: Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet.
AGEING: Part of the wine was aged for 8 months in barrels of French and American oak. The remainder was in stainless steel tanks.
PREPARATION: The harvest is done manually in small boxes. The grapes were separated by caste, then performing a pressing and degrease all. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures, then fermentation was performed.
WINE PAIRING: Meat, poultry and mature cheeses.
TEMPERATURE: 16-18 °C
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 14.5%
