Arrocal 2014 (Tempranillo)

TASTING NOTES OF Arrocal 2014:

  • View: intense cherry pillory.
  • Nose: blackberry and blueberry, spicy and floral notes.
  • Mouth: silky smooth taste, balanced tannins and strong aromas.

APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero.

VINEYARD: Bodegas Arrocal

GRAPES: Tempranillo.

AGEING: 6 months in French oak barrels (80%), American (20%).

DEVELOPMENT: After manual harvesting, fermentation, maceration for 20 days with temperature controlled by showers of water.

WINE PAIRING: rice with almonds and lamb.

It disclosed a very nice smell of white roses. Acid, fresh, light.
There is nothing better at Ribera del Duero.
