VINEYARDS AND HARVEST: Located in the south of Monte Yerga, Finca la Cuesta de la Reina is a caralsol slope that begins at 450 meters above sea level and rises to 800 meters. Its soils are calcareous clay, poor and with abundant boulders, it is an estate of over 120 hectares belonging to the family for four generations and which has always cultivated the vineyard. Average age of the vineyards 40 years. Upon a careful monitoring of the vineyard, the grapes are harvested at optimum maturity. Tempranillo the first half of October was harvested, Grenache mid-October and mazuelo the last week of October and first of November. The harvest is done manually, selecting healthy, ripe grapes, rejecting raw and deterioradas.IV. PREPARATION: Fermentation takes place in steel tanks inoxidabley with native yeast.
