“Leonildo Pieropan is considered the godfather of Soave. The wines are made from grapes Garganega and Trebbiano from the hills surrounding the town of Soave. The special cuvée La Rocca, made from late-picked grapes, get an education in French oak and won many international prizes. In the glass, the La Rocca Soave Classico Pieropan bright and sparkling with an intense (light) yellow color. It is a distinctive wine with aromas of exotic fruits and nuts. Soft and engaging in the mouth, with hints of citrus, spices and vanilla.”

It has a dense colour. Notes of white fruits such as apples. It felt like the typical astringency from Pieropan.
