Matsu el Viejo 2016 (Tinta de Toro)
- View: Deep cherry red, high layer, violet notes on the edge.
- Nose: high intensity, aromas of ripe black fruit, well integrated with toasted notes, spices and smoked.
- Mouth: stout and fleshy. Long lingering aftertaste, ripe fruit and roast the barrel.
VINEYARD: selection of ancient vineyards of extremely limited production. ancient vineyards. sandy soils and sediments formed by sandstones, clays and limestone pudingas Pliocene.
GRAPES: 100% Tinta de Toro.
AGEING: 16 months in new French oak barrels.
PREPARATION: fermentation and maceration 3 weeks deposits 15,000 kg. malolactic fermentation in tanks. Wine without filtering process and clarified without using aggressive processes.
PAIRING: Red meats grilled, roasted red meats and small game.
