- Mouth: The taste is round and juicy, with a characteristic acidity that makes it very refreshing.
APPELLATION: South Tyrol (IGT).
VINEYARD: Ritterhof. It is located in Caldaro, wine region of South Tyrol, one of the smallest provinces of Italy and the northernmost. This region is known for its variety of native grapes. The land is located on the sunny hills of the Valle del Alto Etsch at a height between 250 and 450 meters above sea level. Its climate is Mediterranean and sunny, with over 300 days of sunshine per year; however precipitation levels are good enough for wine production. Soils consist mostly of volcanic rock, a great source of minerals for the vines.
GRAPES: Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau and Goldmuskateller.
AGEING: It is made in stainless steel tanks.
PREPARATION: Each type of grape is delivered separately to the winery after manual harvesting process. After a short time of maceration, compressed gently, they clarified and fermented individually in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 20 °C.
WINE PAIRING: It is recommended as an aperitif to fully appreciate its variety of flavors. It is also excellent to accompany pasta dishes, risotto or fish.
