TASTING NOTES OF La Spinetta Il Nero Di Casanova 2013:
- View: intense ruby red.
- Nose: wild cherry, black currant and sweet plum.
- Mouth: delicious, silky tannins and a fruity finish, cherry and elegant much wealth.
VINES: La Spinetta
GRAPES: 100% Sangiovese.
AGEING: 9 months in French oak barrels medium toasted, then two months in stainless steel tanks, 6 months in bottle.
PREPARATION: alcohol for 9-10 days at controlled rotofermentadores, malolactic fermentation in oak fermentation temperature.
PAIRING: grilled food, pasta and meat.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13.5%
The history of La Spinetta began in 1977 when the Rivetti family moved to La Spinetta translated the "up the hill" in Castagnole Lanze, in the heart of the appellation Moscato d'Asti in Piedmont, Italy. The family believes in the strong potential of Moscato and produced the first parcel....
