Tignanello Antinori Toscana 2010 was the first Sangiovese to mature in oak barrels and also the first red from the Chianti Classico area to not use white grapes. Its original name was 'Chianti Classico Riserva vigneto Tignanello' and was first launched in 1970, still containing white grapes in its extra-ordinary blend. Last but not least, Tignanello Antinori Toscana 2010 was also the first modern red wine to use non-traditional varieties such as Cabernet in its blend.
