“The Valpolicella Allegrini Corte Giara was born in vineyards located in Fumane, in the hills of Valpolicella. It is made from grapes Corvina Veronese and Rondinella, harvested and hand selected during the first half of September. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. The wine is aged for three months in the same container and for 2 months in the bottle before being marketed. Deep ruby red in color, this Allegrini Valpolicella of the nose opens with pleasant notes of cherry, enriched by intense aromas of herbs. The palate is dry, well balanced between fruit and acidity. Perfect to accompany Tuscan appetizers with bacon, salami and bruschetta, this red wine is ideal with first courses of Mediterranean cuisine.”
“We drank a pair of bottles of Allegrini Corte Giara Valpolicella 2016 with my friend.
A Valpolicella with brown edges. Sweet caramell flavour.. An intense red.
I would suggest that you serve it with a good potatoes stew.”
