Allegrini Corte Giara Merlot Corvina 2017 (Merlot and Corvina)
TASTING NOTES OF Allegrini Corte Giara Merlot Corvina 2017:
- View: Ruby red with bright red highlights on the edge.
- Nose: Aroma of spices and herbs.
- Mouth: Cherries and plums come together to offer a pleasant taste on the palate.
VINEYARD: Corte Giara
GRAPES: 40% Corvina, 60% Merlot.
AGEING: 6 months in total: 4 months in steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle.
PREPARATION: It is made of two grape varieties: Corvina and Merlot. The Merlot grapes are harvested by hand in the first week of September while the Corvina grapes are harvested the first week of October. Pass through a fermentation process and then aged for 4 months in stainless steel at a controlled and then another two months in the bottle temperature.
WINE PAIRING: Excellent companion to meat and venison.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13%
