Gazela Mare (Loureiro and Alvarinho)
- View: translucent color with green and blue dyes.
- Nose: Aromatic notes of tropical and citrus fruits; highlights pineapple and passion fruit.
- Mouth: fresh, citrus flavor with a perfectly balanced acidity and a palate aromatic aftertaste.
APPELLATION: Vinho Verde.
GRAPES: Loureiro, Alvarinho.
AGEING: This wine is aged 3 months on its lees.
PREPARATION: The grapes are gently pressed and left to macerate for a short period of time to accelerate oxidation. Then the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks at temperatures of 16 °C for 15 days, then the wine should stay another 3 months resting on its lees for all aromas and flavors indicated. Finally it is stabilized, filtered and bottled.
WINE PAIRING: Fish, seafood, lobster, crab, poultry, lamb, pork chops, pastas, risottos, paellas, fresh cheeses, appetizers, salads.
