Macia Batle Añada 2018
- View: Wine bright and limpid, cherry red with violet hues.
- Nose: The aromas are predominant forest fruits such as berries and blackberries, with slight hints of spices and smoked.
- Mouth: The palate is perceived an intense aroma, very good combination of soft grape tannins and oak tone.
APPELLATION: Mallorca, Spain.
VINEYARD: Bodegues Macià Batle.
GRAPES: 32% Manto Black, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Syrah.
AGEING: young wine is subjected to aging for 2 months in American oak barrels.
PREPARATION: The grapes are de-stemmed, crushed and fermented in stainless steel vessels with temperature control for 10 days at most at 28 °C. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine matures for two months in American oak barrels.
PAIRING: Marida well with tapas and antipasti, also ideal to accompany dishes of beef and poultry.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14-16 °C
