Democratic Wines elaborates this Bienbebido Come Cerdo , a red wine from Wines without Appellation (Spain) vinified from tempranillo and garnacha. According to Uvinum users, this red wine earns 4 out of 5 points.
“Bienbebido is a different project and like in Vintae: fun and cool, different, but with a solid enological and conceptual base. This collection was born with an idea to create "ideal partners" wine and food. They wanted to get wines that were most appropriate way to take them with different dishes or food.
It is a friendly tempranillo-grenache blend in which fruit and 18 months in barrels are balanced to perfection.
Grapes from vineyards in northern Spain, located in a cool elevated area.
Intense ruby red color. Nose highlights the freshness and intensity of fruit, characteristic of the Garnacha, and also shown toasted perfectly integrated oak. The palate is fresh, with great acidity and a long finish.
Aging in French and American oak barrels for a period of 18 months and subsequent stay in the bottle for at least 6 months.”
“The Bienbebido collection is the result of a challenge: find the perfect place to have wine with different dishes. To achieve this, Vintae organized a gathering of friends in which to experiment with different varieties and coupages. Oenologists, sommeliers, chefs and passionate world of vinocataron and sampled to define the perfect companion for octopus, chicken, pork, beef, cheese or ham.”
“I took 2 bottles of Bienbebido Cerdo 2010 with a former partner.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. You can notice that the Bienbebido Cerdo smells of red fruits. It's flavour reminds me of wild berries.
We had it while we waited for the meal, with appetizers.”
